Julie was elected as the Councillor for Wyboston following the 2023 by-election.
Julie has a positive, can-do attitude, vowing to champion the issues of the ward to get “residents’ voices heard” in Borough Hall. She already has a good track record in collaboration and working with Councillors, MPs and others in the area to the benefit of the local communities.
She has and continues to work with Mayor Tom Wootton and Richard Fuller MP, to ensure that East West Rail understand just how passionate her ward is in their opposition to these plans. She is also passionate about preserving the wards green spaces, keeping the reason people chose to live here safe, healthy and unspoilt.
She has live here for over 32 years and loves the communities in the Wyboston Ward which includes so many wonderful villages and hamlets. She has a long history of community work volunteering at the Staploe &Duloe youth football team where she helped her husband run the club for 2 seasons, she then went on to running youth and adult teams for Roxton for over 15 years before becoming chairman of Roxton adult and youth football club.
