Dafodils

Spring has well and truly sprung in Biddenham after Cllrs Roger Rigby and Jon Gambold used their Council Ward Funds to plant 8,000 daffodils.

The flowers, planted at the Gold Lane roundabout and pedestrian entrance to the Deep Spinney estate, are now fully in bloom as a sea of yellow.

Cllr Rigby said:

‘We were very pleased to use a small sum from our Ward Fund monies to plant the daffodils which will bring colour and brightness for a few weeks each spring for years to come.’
